Thread: new laptop

I just bought a new dell laptop and it has Vista. Can I download BV onto my desktop and work on my site with Vista? or should I return the computer. Quite different you know...

Vista won't cause you any problems. Funnily enough I have recently bought a new Dell Laptop that runs on Vista myself. It's a little bit different than XP (Thats if you meant to say XP) but you soon get used to it.

Where it can get tricky is when you transfer the files from one PC to another because all the image paths are altered if you don't put them back in exacty the same place.

Thank you Darren. I will save my files onto a disk download and reboot them to the site. Do you think I should erase everything in my FTP before rebooting or do you think it will be okay?
