Thread: How do i insert a word Document on my Webpage?

Hi,

I have a 2 page word document, which is like an expenses sheet.

I want to be able to upload this on my website made with bluevoda, but i want to be able to edit the document from any location whilst online, and then save it.

So therefore i can go online when away from home, add the days expenses from any other pc which has Word, and save it.

If it can be done, i will then look into password protecting it.

All i have done so far is use the OLE function on Bluevoda, which works, but of course you cannot edit anything.

If you are using VodaHost hosting, you can login to your cPanel
and edit the html of any page by selecting the file or folder and then
select "edit".

For Word docs, just copy.
Then open your BV webpage and select "text" from the top tool and drag it open in your webpage; then paste.

Hi, you would have a lot more flexibility using something like Google docs & have the google doc open in an iframe on your BV page. This way you can log on to your G/docs page without the need for BV any where in the world, & on anyones computer. You can also very easily give permissions to who can & who cant see the info from google page. You can (if wanted) even give a freind permission to edit the file if you wish.
