Does anybody know how to take a screenshot, either from within the software or online, and save it in .jpg or .gif format?

Press control and printscreen at the same time, open paint form accessories, press control "V" then click file/save as, name it and besure to set the type to jpeg.

This costs a few £££'s but I use snaggit, for screen shots and more!

I think they offer a 30 day trial.

I recently found a great program called SnapShot...lets you take a full screen, active window or crop your image - I think its free ware, also lets you save in various formats. Google it to find the download.

Can also be done with Alt-Print screen if you have multiple browser window open. Just choose the window 1st by clicking on it.

Freestone is one of the very best screen capture programs. The above link will take you to the 5.3 version, which is the very last freeware version of the software. Hope this helps.
