publishing problem with password

Hi I am trying to publish my web site, it is telling me that there is an error with my password. I am using the same one that I use to log into my cp.
What can I do please?
Error supplied password is incorrect.
One other question please, should my links work when I preview my web pages?
Because they don't yet.

Make sure you're publishing to the correct IP address.

After looking at your web site mine looks very plain . Is it easy to make corrections to my pages, I know for sure there area few mistakes!
This has only taken me two weeks to do............lol
