Thread: printing a form from pop up window

I am designing a form (using the wizard) for clients to type, print and send by snail mail. I intend it to be a pop-up window. The web page looks ok , but in print preview its obvious that half of my page is going to be chopped off, and some of the table contents are going to be squashed too. I have tried modifying the page width in page properties, but it isn't having any effect. How does one create a page designed to print out as A4 ? What dimensions should it be ?

thanks for that, Chris. have managed the dimensions question. Problem I have now is, the page looks great in browser and print preview, but when printed comes up with a big black section, minus the two editboxes, which come up light, covering the whole of the section which utilised the form. I cant work out what is causing it, except maybe a code snarl-up, as I cut and pasted sections from a previous attempt.. You forgot the .php in your link, as for the form it printed just fine for me.

Yep! fine here too. The date of birth was very faint on the screen, but printed fine & looked good in print preview.

Grrr ! I tried printing it again, and same result ! The word 'form' in white in the corner, the radio buttons and edit boxes in white , and the rest of the from section black, with some giant header in blue across it...dont know where that came from... can anyone help ?
