hello i have fixed my guest book the way i want, now i just can't figure out how to get it to work. i need a little bit of help lol

also doesnt blue voda have a built in graph chart that you can customize?

Place your guest book on the page as per instructions & publish. (This part is now done)
Now open notepad & create just a plain blank page & save it as a text file & name it guestbookdb.php & save.
Now upload this empty notepad doc to your server via FTP & change the permissions to 755 as tutorial.
What happens is when a message is left, it is stored in this document.

What is the purpose of a guest book? Yeah seems like a silly question, but what are the pros?

It allows visitors to leave messages on your site, the cons are that you could receive a lot of spam. You can use captcha's to help control this but nothing is 100%

ahh never thought about spam. They seem to flock to me. I have to use a captcha code on everything. Thanks that does make a lot of sense
