Thread: Need detailed explanation on add-on domain, do not understand one on website well.

Hello, I run a website called www.revgadget.net and I have been with vodahost since 2007.
I was browsing their tutorials, and I came across add-on domains. I followed their tutorial video, but no-matter how long I wait, the website does not show up.
Do you have to buy a add-on domain or something?
Could someone please explain how it works and how to do it in detail please, thank you in advance.

yes, you need to purchase a domain name .. this then is what is called an add on domain to your voda hosting account ..you can have unlimited domains but your must purchase them .. this domain is then independent of any other domains you currently have ..

sub-domains are free - but are required to operate off of a domain .. and is not an independent domain ..
