Thread: Index page war

What am I missing here?

When naming a new website homepage "index" it is conflicting with my other website homepage which is coincidentally named "index" as well:)After saving my new home page as, having "index" as the file name and clicking save, I getting xoxoxoxoxoxo already exist, do you want to replace it? (Both are saved in BV)

Learn to use the search box at the top of this forum and a lot of your problems would have been solved.

Please goto the following link.....................

Make a new folder in documents, blue voda.. for your new site. save your new index page inside the new folder.. then theres no war.

Well, Karen, I do think there is a conflict even yet, as cobalt seems to epitomize the quote in your signature with repeated multiple posts and thread creations on the same issue which was answered fully and completely but not followed whatsoever!

This seems to be an ONGOING issue of late. The INDEX lower case seems to be missing etc etc.. the concept of creating folders is missing.. short of offering remedial computer training course, i think we are stuck with answering and re answering, and reanswering.. however.. i will try to keep them in the SAME thread or close em down..
