Thread: problems with contact and success page

Hi all

I am having some problems with my contact + success page on www.your-tel.com. I have completed my contact page with a contact form, saved it as contact then published which was fine. Now I need to amend it, once amended then publish nothing changes when live.

Also I have created a success page and published it, when contact form is filled I get the 404 Not Found error.

When you create a contact form on a page BlueVoda must publish the page with the .php extension because of the programming involved in having the form.
Your contact page comes up as http://www.your-tel.com/contact.php
Your success page also comes up correctly if you type in this address: http://www.your-tel.com/success.html

So if the success page fails to appear it will be because your contact page is most likely pointing to /success.php instead of .html.
Clear as mud?

Any time I have tried to update a page and the changes don't appear it is usually because the browser has cached a copy of the old page. Try refreshing the page or clearing the browser cache.
