Thread: Video Help

Okay when I place a wmv or quicktime file on site it has the play, pause, stop bar thing on the site. There are some sites that I visit that don't have that, you just click on the picture for the video and it plays. Does this have to be there or what?

I have a feeling you are grabbing a completed video to place on your site. The players face is created when the video file is being compressed. You usually don't have much choice if any at all from your Video Creator Program. If you do your own compressing after rendering the file, go on-line first and google say 'Windows Media Players'. This should get you some free options for downloading for a .wmv file. If it's a Flash file (.swf or .slv) there aren't usually any tools on the face unless you want it that way. Flash is a whole other ball game.
