Thread: unknown code

I have just gone 2 place the "no cache" code on my index page when I found the following code. I have no idea what it is for as there is nothing on my index page except 4 a few text and image links.

I do not remember placing it here, so I do not want 2 delete it without knowing what its supposed purpose is?
