1.) How can I set font colour and store colour for future text issues ?

2.) How can I format all texts in all cells of a table in one go ?

Item 1
1. Highlight text
2. Click Text Color icon
3. Click Custom Color...
4. Select a color
4a. Select a blank square
5. Click Define Customer Color
6. The color in step 4 shows up
7. You can modify the color
8. Your selected color occupies the blank square.

You can test it for yourself.

Item 2
I don't use tables. But you can do cell spacing and cell padding and border
on the table.
