Thread: Third Sphere webhosting and Software

I have a potential new customer that currently has a website that was
created in ThirdSphere software and is hosted by ThirdSphere.
Does anyone know if it would be possible to move the site to BlueVoda for
a website "facelift" and new hosting?

No idea if you can import it entirely to blue voda or not but you could definately redo it and rehost it.

Hi Karen, Thanks.... I already thought of that..... just trying to save the customer a little $$$ and I don't know as yet how long their contract, if any, might be with the current host. I just might have to do the work in their
software, which looked very straightforward. Ofcourse I would prefer to do
the work in BlueVoda :>) as well as move the hosting.

Why dont you do a revamped and sparkling new website for them in BlueVoda and impress upon them to buy a hosting account with VodaHost?

However since the customer is not asking for a brand new website I am just
trying to keep the cost down for the customer. If I could MOVE it to BlueVoda hosting and link the new pages to the current website, (created in BlueVoda) it would be more cost effective for the customer.
Since no one seems to know if this is possible, I am beginning to think that
it is NOT possible.

I realize that you can link to anything. I guess the 2nd big question really is
is Blue Voda capable of hosting a website that was NOT created in BlueVoda software. I would think that there must be a way to publish via FTP in the other software...........
but perhaps there is a policy? against it by both companies.
Anyone out there know BlueVoda's policy on this????

Yes VODAHOST is capable of hosting most any BUILDER software.. HOWEVER, your off shoot hosting may not work on vodahost if its proprietary like blue voda is.

You cannot publish blue voda built sites to OTHER hosting. No policy .. it just wont work.
