Can I make a link to open a specific sheet in an xls dociment?

yes - ftp the xls to your server in your public_html folder and then make a link on your page to open the document. the link will look like this:
http://www.yourdomainname.com/file1.xls

I think I have clearly stated I wanted an xls document to open at a specific sheet.
