Exclamation BUG: Center Vertically and Horizontally

Thanks to whomever invented "Center Horizontally".

When I saw that BV now included "Center Vertically" I was thrilled.

However, the technical methods used to "Center Both Vertically and Horizontally" seem to be different than just "Center Horizontally".

When a browser window is too small for a web page that is centered horizontally, the content is justified to the left side and a scrollbar shows up on the bottom and side, allowing you to see the right and bottom section of the site. All of the site is possible to see, no matter what size the browser window is.

    Now, to the bug:

When a webpage is Centered Both Horizontally and Vertically, the top and left sections of the webpage are off the screen if the browser window is smaller than the webpage.

You can see this by opening a page that is centered both ways, like this sample page: http://www.rougerivergroup.com/embraceable-viewb.php

Compared to a page that is just centered horizontally: http://www.rougerivergroup.com/embraceable-view.php

I get the same effect with Firefox and IE.

This is generally not a problem because most people's browser windows are big enough, however bots only see the bottom right quadrant, which is a big issue if your menu is on the top or left (normal locations).

If this could get fixed, I would be very grateful!

Bots don't see pages, they see page code, and they see the ENTIRE page code.

Both your pages appear fine (identical) in my computer. So I'm not even sure what you mean.

Please note that when centering only horizzontally, it is enough to set the pahe width correctly. IF, instead, you center also vertically, you need to set correctly also the page height.

You pages, in BV, should ALWAYS be alligned to the top left corner of BV's workspace.

I'm glad to hear that bots will see the entire page.

I assumed that bots didn't see the top of the page, because when I ran the sitemap tool in BV it didnt see my menu on the top, therefore not generate a sitemap.

Most computers will see it fine with large browser windows. Please drag the size of your browser up, like quarter screen, and you will see what I am referring to.

I am building them correctly and have page sizes correct.

One page is centered vertically and horizontally, the other is just horizontally. Play with your browser window size and you will see the flaw.

On my ******, for example, I cannot see the header of my site.

    Thanks for your time.

This is why I assumed bots didnt see my menu: Googles Cache of my Site

And because it wasnt crawling my new pages in the menubar.

You have two menus, of which one is Javascript. Bots usually can't follow Javascripts, probably this is the reason why the second menu doesn't appear.
