Thread: new index page

hi
I just can't remember how to do this .I have a new addon domain and have built pages etc .How do I name page index .keeps asking if I want to replace existing index page .please tell me what I have done wrong

For your addon domain you need to add a folder to your BV files to store your "new" files, else they will overwrite your files for your original domain.
Also you will publish to public_html/addondomain

The addon domain has a folder but the files are all separate how do I load them into the file .I keep going round in circles .I still can;t name new page index because it says there is no file I don;t get it .Can someone please check for me .the addon is chapartipoodles.com

As I found out, You Have your Atomatic BV file with your first set of files from your first web site. Create new folder - rename it- put all files in that folder from your first site except image folder- leave it out. It seams that all the files in the folder will share the image folder. Then create second file in the BV file and put your second site in there. I don't know if its the right way but thats what I did. If I'm wrong please correct me Thanks

Have an Images folder in each account. It'll get cluttered if you have more than a few sites.
Either you have not published an indes pages or you have named it "Index" with an uppercase which is not permissible for the index page.

Let's try again......
You have your BV folder...
Inside of that all files for your 1st (main) domain go there.
Store all of your images inside the Images folder.
......
Create a new folder inside your BV folder named chapartipoodles
Creat an Images folder inside the chapartipoodles folder
Save all BV pages for chapartipoodles.com inside chapartipoodles folder

When you publish BV files for the poodle site you will publish to:
public_html/chapartipoodles

To publish your BV files for magicpallete.com you will publish to:
public_html

You have uppercase in your page names. ( FAQs ) It's best to use all lower case.
You also have spaces in page names. ( about us ) That will not work. Also, it works best(?) to not have spaces in any file names including jpg's etc.
