    Question Download PDF from webpage?

    How do upload a pdf to the server and link it so it will be downloadable?
    Not just opened in another browser?

    Hi

    This is a cut & paste from a Zuriatman post (http://www.vodahost.com/vodatalk/add...documents.html) with some modification for the pdf.

    In public_html/ create a folder and name it download (or any name meaningful to you).

    Give your pdf a short and simple name.

    Use BlueFTP or the utility in CP File Manager to upload your pdf to the folder that you just created.

    If the file is named "demo.pdf" the link to the pdf file will be http://www.yourdomain/yourdownloadfolder/demo.pdf

    When the above url is entered in any browser or you create a link to it and that link is clicked, the pdf will open. This is assuming that the pc has Adobe installed in it.

    You may want to create a link to download Adobe.
