Thread: html code does not compile during preview

I wanted to preview some items listed on amazon.com so I copied their html code from their site to paste on my web page (under construction).

I clicked on the blue voda html icon, dragged the box to the center of the page & pasted the html code.

I went to preview the html link and nothing came up.

Normally yes! But we would have to see the code.

You are stating that you copied their HTML code and pasted it in a HTML box in your page. The you tried to preview. But, there is probably very little to preview.

I mean, Amazon is a dynamic, database driven site. Images are stored in the Database. Most of the links are dynamically generated depending on which section / page of the site you are on. Even most of the pages are dynamically generated. So most probably the code you pasted will do little or nothing. In anyway, as Chris said, we would need to see the code.
