Thread: Publish, yet...not published

Hi everyone
I have been using BV for awhile now and in general, everything has been running smoothly.
However, today I tried to publish one page (publish changed files only) and I could see no change happening.
So, I decided to delete the page completely from the server (via ftp) and try to publish the whole page this time.
Everything goes fine and the page gets fully published. However, when I visit the page, there is no page there.
I haven't changed any of my settings for publishing, I do publish on the correct directory. It drives me crazy.
Some help please??? I am using version 11

My main directory is www.dvattika.com
Second directory is www.earthsbeautytours.com
Whenever I want to publish something into the dvattika directory, I have always been using public_html/ for the publishing.
Whenever I want to publish something into the earthsbeautytours directory, I have always been using public_html/earthsbeautytours for the publishing.
The same now, checked the settings and all is there, server IP correct, username correct, password correct, folder correct.
I just can't understand where on earth it is uploading the file.

Edit: I have now tried to edit other pages and still the same problem. Although everything is running fine, no pages get changed.

Update

I have tried to upload from my Mac (via vmware), where I use windows as an application and still the same thing, the page gets published fine.
Which lets me to believe, something with the server?

It's possible that your server has been updated/changed.
Go here to check.
If this is the case choose the new IP# from the drop down list when publishing.
On another note .
Your images are beautiful. However, they are way too large (electronically).
Other pages have no navigation. I find that inconvenient to have to use the browsers "Back" button to get to a page that has navigation to get to another page. Why not have navigation on all pages?

The problem is now extending however. I can log-in into my server for email check but no access to the CP, although I have full access via ftp.
I have no idea what is going on so had to submit a ticket.

I have now managed to log-in to my CP but the problem with publishing remains.

This is a similar course. The page in question is under the one day courses.

All I can suggest right now is to check the page name spelling very carefully.

Trust me Terry, everything has been double-double checked.
No, I can't see the page anywhere and this is the weird thing, where does it go?

I have been moved to a different IP on the server and everything is fine.
No idea what the problem was.

I'm glad that all is OK.
