Thread: different background images and sizes

i want to have a background for page 1 that is 1000 pixels long and i want to import that image through the page properties tool
on another page i want another type of image and i want to import that through the page properties tool

when i do this i get the same image for all pages. how do i do what im trying to do?

on the other pages i want the same look except without the beige part.

Everything you are doing seems fine ie different background image for different page where you see fit via page properties as you say.

The only two things I could come up with are

1) Page caching but then you've here long enough to perhaps rule that out
2) Each background image are inadvertantly sharing the same name
