    Question Design Issue

I recently sent in a help ticket for a problem with Blue Voda. After many emails back and forth I was told this is a Blue Voda problem and the help tickets are for VodaHost, billing, etc. I have posted this issue before and was told to send in a help ticket. So here I am, back at the beginning only now I know how to ask the question. I was told the problem is when I copy and paste elements from one page to another. When I open my website some of the pages look skewed and warped. Images from other pages are being displayed in the incorrect areas. I was told to recreate my site. I don't know if that is the problem though. Most of the issues are with items that were carried over when I 'cloned' a page. Needless to say I am very frustrated that I have to recreate my entire website, but I would be even more so if I made the same error. So my question, what can I and can't I copy? Can I clone or will this cause the same problem? Can I copy items within the same page so long as I don't copy across pages? I want to know exactly what to do before I recreate my entire site which consists of 25 different pages.

Dont copy and paste anything, instead create a "master page" with all the common elements for each page and then clone each page from it. You will not have any issues that way.

So I can't copy and paste even in the same page or I will have problems? Then why even have the option to copy and paste? I did clone. All of my pages are clones, but they are all different too. If I don't do any copy and pasting some pages like this one www.ricklesranch.com/happytails.html would take forever to make. Are there any other options? Is there some video tutorial that I missed that says I can't copy and paste? Maybe that video has a suggestions on how to get around this huge problem.

If I understood the issue in question correctly, then try the following:

If you want to have an image, or a piece of text, or a menu,
or the header, address etc. at the same place
and position on all pages, there is a forum entry that has
the description of how to do it.

I don't remember the link to that description. So here it
    is in my words:

If all pages don't sit at the same position or links are
incorrect, or the page and the items move from page to page,
    do the following:

1a. Open all your pages in BV, the ones that have the items
you think should look exactly like on the index file.

1b. Delete all the items in question from all pages except the index file.

2a. Have all the items - header, menus, text, etc. -
nicely laid out on the index page.

2b. Watch out for links, positioning, and everything else.

    3. Test the index file. Test all items - links, menu, see
if the header, the address are sitting properly.

    4. Once you are satisfied with it, lock an item and select it.

    5. At the top menu, click on Copy.

    6. Go to all pages that you have opened for the purpose,
and click on Paste at the top menu one page at a time.

6a. Watch it. It will sit exactly on the same spot as on index file

    7. Pick the next item and repeat from step 4.

    8. Leave them locked. They won't move.

This way all your header, address, menu, links and everything
else would be in exactly the same position on their respective
pages as in index file. The links on the menu would be the same as well.

    Subsequent changes
If you make a change in any of the item on the index file,
    just repeat the whole process.

I have used this and makes everything a lot easier.

So in your case, fix up the index file including the header, the address,
the menu and everything else and start doing the above. Believe me it
    would fly like an F-22.

    Don't use CTRL-X and CTRL-V
Use the two icons for Copy and Paste above on the menu bar.

    One solution:
Tools/Options/Publish > Check the box "Use page name for image prefix"
The above will take care of all bv shapes and also all images.
There really is not a problem with copy/paste.
The issue is when you then edit a item. Then changes will be made to all previous items also.
Why? Because all files are in the public_html folder and not separated by page.
