Thread: How to recover my lost Public folder locally?

Hi all,

I find myself without my old BV folder because I mistakenly erased my operating system. So I lost all my bv files and folders on my computer. I know they still exist on the remote server and and I was wondering if someone could help me recover them all (files and folders included).

I wouldn't want to download these files one by one as I have thousands of them on the remote server. Is there a faster way to download these files as "group" to my computer?

P.S. I would like to keep the original structures of the folders/files if possible. Thanks very much for assisting me with it.

Yo can goto cPanel and make a full backup and download to your pc.

However you still have to resave each page to your BlueVoda folder as a .bvp file.

You also have to reinstate all the orignal photos, graphics, fonts to your BlueVoda folder otherwise when you open the pages in BlueVoda, BV will not be able to find the files required for the page which will result in missing graphics, photos etc.

Is there a button for "full back" in the File Manager folder I should be looking for? Really appreciate your help. Thanks very much,

go to Cpanel & in the files window you see "Backup Wizard" click here & choose......
