do you have a hosting account? if you don't you will not be able to use the html coding. the builder is a html generator not an editor.

Yes, I have a hosting account, Sorry for not mentioning it; I took it for granted.
But this is not very relevant to my problem. The files are in bvp format on my computer.
Using your .png as an example; if you want to make changes to the html shown there, highlight it, copy and paste it into Notepad or similar, make your changes there, copy and paste that into the empty window.

hi I would like to know if there's a way to modify a picture or a roll over edit the html en BV...
I am doing manually and I'm sure that there must be a fast way to just change the parameters in the html....
thx
newbie linceman
thx... but... for instance I open a shape in BV... I see de html code and the I see 3 tabs... before tag - inside tag - after tab...
I modify in the notepad... then I paste it in the blank space and it inserts it in the code (blue color) but it doesn't do anything...
Anyone knows how to make the change??
Cheers

So, you are trying to edit the html of a shape using the html tags?
Why not physically alter the shape?
If you double click the shape a "Shape Properties" window will open.
From there you can change properties.

yes... but I can't seem to change the size to exactly the number that I want...
Let's say I want a picture or a shape to be 175x350... I spend quite some time
going back and forth to a the point where I get to the measure that I want... and even so... I might not get there exactly...
Whereas if I just could opened the html, I would just put down ="175", ="350" and it would be very fast and exact to what I want from the shape...
Unless there's somewhere in the properties a field where I can change the numbers and that I haven't seen.
Thx Terry

For instance

In this page I'm making... if you look at the rollever image at the top right... that say esp.... esp... and if you roll over it... it changes.... the roll over size is width="258" height="132"...
and because the lay out guide settings grid spacing minimum value is 4 (or so I think)... if I try to change the shape manually it doesn't adjust and match to the lines around it in the exact look or space around it...
If I just could open the html and put down width="256" height="130"... bingo... I would just get it in a couple of attempts to get the right measure... (or so I think)
thx... learning and improving

thx terry
for some reason I tried with a higher grid value 5 and it works better...
So far so good...
But I still think being able to modify html on the spot would be great...

Changing the html will change the physical size (that's what the "handles" on the image are for) but will leave the electronic size the same.
For instance, if you take an image that is 8X8 and use the handles to make it 2X2 the electronic size will be for the 8X8 version.
If you look in the lower right hand corner of the web builder you will see that you can view the physical size of a selected image. You can change the width and height and watch the W & H to make the image/shape any size.
See this.
