Default computer crash changed my pages

Had a bad computer crash but my wonderful tech guy managed to restore almost all of my stuff. Problem is most of my unpublished pages have changed. Many of my fonts warped into something else (I lost some fonts and can probably restore those without much problem), but all of my pics have disappeared and have been replaced with red X,s AND all of my page extensions now say .bvp.

If I download the latest version of Blue Voda, will that retore everything but my fonts or do I need to do something else?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

    No it will not.

The link to the images in your Document/BlueVoda folder has been severed.

You will need to delete the image and repopulate your .bvp file.

thanks so much for your quick reply. I suspected that. Are my pages supposed to all have the .bvp extension? I can't remember if they had those before the crash ???

All webpages created with BlueVoda and saved in the BluVoda folder on your pc will have the .bvp extension.

On nyou PC they are .bvp
Once published to the server, they become .html

There is no need to delete those images showing the crosses. I recently had to redo mine also after a hard disk change.

    1. Simply double click the box showing the cross.
    2. In the File Name field, see what the file name is.
    3. Now browse to that image again, select it and click OK.

Do the same for the next image.
