Thread: images not more found

Hi.My usual account (on my compiuter) has been damaged,so I have to move all my files to the new one as amministrator.Doing so when i went to open b.v. all the images are not more linked to the page.the images file is the same position as it was.Is there a way to link all the immages without redoing the entire page? may the "relative/absolute path"on the html code be the way?

I believe if you have moved files around, either from folder to- another folder or another drive or another computer, when you open BV and open a page, it will show just a white area where the pic should be. You have to double click on the each and every pic and point it to the new location of the picture. If your webpage is never going to change, why go to the trouble. If you are constantly updating a page(s), it needs to be done. One tip, before you do the double click on a sized item, notice size in bottom right of BV. Then double click to get pic and size from lower right corner to approximate size then finish sizing on side handles of the item.
I had to do it to a 75 page site I run, it is time consuming and frustrating. One thing I did learn though, put your pics from your site on a CD-RW. that way, you can move to any computer and open your p[ages in blue voda and you pics are all in the same place.

The Pix will still appear on your website because they are on your server.
On going to a new computer simply recreate the "exact" path to you images.
Hopefully they are stored in your BlueVoda folder created when you downloaded the BV software.

hi thank a lot.that's just what I did:since the trouble has been only with immages,I relinked each immage replace as the same path as before and everything went well.

ps:of course every time the new path for images has been restore pops up either the new image or the old one
