Thread: My pages view differently between small & large screens

After I would complete a new page, I would preview the page.
I find misaligned text, photos out of boxes. I use my IBM r60 lap top to build my
web site. ?? Small screen. I use 900 x what ever length of page I need Then I publish it. WOW I check my large screen office computer and
my images have moved, my text is not centered. My text items have slid
over. My Paypal html buttons move around.
I change the large screen to a narrow setting it Helped .
Question; Is the way I'm setting up my page properties the problem????
Is using a lap top with a small screen the problem???????
What do you think? Besides that I might be Nuts
I'M afraid that my potential customers will find a distorted web site.
Last night I published another page and again WOW. I published it a couple times and it seemed to get better. I don't Know.

They all look good at my end & 900 is a good page width to go with. Is there any chance the pages you are having problems with have some sort of external script, as i have found many of these scripts can throw things out in BV. Url of a bad page would be handy for us to look at.

Yes I have found if use wide latin script it changes when i preview the page. But thats only one item.
If you notice I use shape properties alot.
Do you think I load up my pages with too much of these things
that it would cause the page to distort?

Ps I have refered many people to BV but I didn't know how to sign up for the referral program. I search for info couldn't find it.

Using none web friendly fonts wont help. But when i say scripts, i was thinking html/php/java type of script.
