Thread: Need Help In Php And Forms Again

Hey people,

I need really help, till now I didn't get a direct answer about the subject, I have a form in www.niteproduction.com/get_info.html

I want it to work, so following the tutorial, I have 2 files now, the 1st is in NotePad with the code provided, and 2nd is the same page get_info.html, but while saving it I put get_info.php inst. of .bvp

it is right what I did?

if so, should I change in page propeties of the same page from html to php as well in file extention?

And the customer support told me that I have to upload both file to the FTP, is it right?

Other wise, can somebody tell me what should I correct if mastakes exist in my steps?

First- what directions did you follow? Post a link to those directions so that we may be clear what it is you are trying to do.

Once we have that base- we will be able to be more direct with our responses.

the blue voda tutorial, I did what mentionned there but if you can focus on my questions above, that will help to know what I'm going through

on your html page in the form properties under action you have.
action="mailto:info@niteproduction.com change this to get_info.php
and in Encoding type make this blank with nothing in there then republish.

Hi again i see you have not got a get_info.php page .
OK take the html page take the form off so all you have left is the image you've got left on the page . now put the code you have on the notepad into a html doc on that page preview to get the thank message in the right place , now bring the page properties and change the html to php then when you have done this save as get_info.php then publish.
