Thread: why wont my images stay?

I'm just trying to figure out if this will be a problem when I go to upload my site for hosting as I've finnished making my pages (several) and I took them out to show family members and friends for response and once i downloaded the blue voda for it to recognize the saved files everything came up except for the images, I even tried putting the images in the same directory (folder) as I originally had them at home....any help on this I dont want to have to keep inserting images and croping and resizing them, for people to view and I really hope this will not be an issue when i go to host these pages! Help!

You have moved your images around and detroyed there directory structure..

1) Remove all problematic images from your web pages.
2) Shut down BlueVoda.
3) Rename your images.
4) Reboot
5) Re-insert the new named images back inot BV.
6) Save and republish your pages.

You have just tricked BV and the server into thinking those are new images.
When you save a page with images on it, BV auto-inserts the images into
yopur images folder........NEVER TOUCH THIS FOLDER!

There will be no problem when published. For now images won't come up because even though you have a folder on your parents computer named the same way as in yours, the path to the file will probably have some differences. What you can do is this: save also the pics on their computer, open (on their computer) the BV page, and re-insert the images, then re-save the page and preview.

Do you do it on different PC. It happen to me, too.
When I move around doing it with different PC.
I didn't save them or transfer all of them in complete before I continue it with different PC.
Try to save them from main folder.
