    Default Can't connect to the server!!!!

    Hello BV Tech Help:
    I am getting the following error message when I try to access your server:
    Attempt to connect to the FTP sever failed
    Last server response
    530 Authentication failed, sorry.

    I have Blue Voda 8.0 and have tried different server number choices from the list. I am a new customer trying to get my site up and running. This is very frustrating. PLEASE HELP ME !!!

    The 530 error means you are not logged in. Check your welcome email and ensure that you are entering the correct login, password and IP address.

    I did check my login and password. They are correct. Which IP address should I use from the list? I've tried the default one. Also, do I have to be off line to connect to the server?

    Your correct IP´s are also in your welcome email.....
    Sometimes when first using version 8 you get this type of problem.

    Check your IP and if you still have probs....put in a support ticket.

    I checked my password and login. They are correct. The IP address I used was: 70.86.241.194
    Why can't I get on the server?????

    Is this the IP address you were given in your welcome email? It won't work unless you are publishing to the correct one.

    You have got a PAID VodaHost account, haven't you?

    I think you swtiched your folders, make sure you are publishing to your public_html

    Yes, I have an account. My client # is: 7556.
    I looked at my order confirmation, but I don't see what server I have been assigned. Can you tell or send me a new server IP assignment?
    This may solve my problem.
