Thread: BlueVoda update?

Hi everyone. Now I know this is a stupid question, but where how do I download the latest BlueVoda update (haven't updated in a while). I have done it before but I can't seem to find the update page now?

I just downloaded update version 8 and keep getting a notice from Norton Internet Security:

"Indigo Rose Corporation Setup Factor 6.0 Runtime Module is attempting to access the Internet" Program: irsetup.exe

Is this required for BlueVoda version 8.0 update? or am I being attacked?

I looked at the link you suggested and although it looks like there are some good programs, I'm still left 'not knowing' if this is part of the BlueVoda version 8 upgrade...The Norton 'popped up' just after I clicked 'install' for the BlueVoda upgrade.....

When you download BV8, often times the hourglass or dialog boxes go "dead" despite the continuous loading/downloading. Do not be fooled by seeming inactivity from what you may used to be seeing in other downloads. It may take a few moments longer than you originally anticipate, but hang in there - failure to load will produce a dialog box also.

This is also true when publishing pages....sometimes the process sets updating dialog/status boxes (or the commonplace hourglass) at the lowest priority, and will eventually produce a "Successfully Published" or "Publishing Failed" notice. You pretty much have to get used to waiting until BV finishes what it is doing (hint: although tempted, don't try to do anything else while publishing either - let it runs it's course).


When/ if you choose Soholaunce or osCommerce...

You're fine, just tell Norton to let it run. After that, find a better program than Norton 'cause they blow. LOL
