Lost another page

Hi All,

I have lost another page. I see them online but when I try to access them, I can't find them. I beleive that I saved them wrong and now I can't get them back. One is my catalog page and ther other is my links page. I found them in the FPT but still can't open them.

Hello,
If I understand you correctly, you have lost the source page in Blue Voda, but you can see the published page on your web site.

You might try (in BV) File/New Page/From Existing HTML Page/ to 'reverse engineer' you lost BV source. You will probably still have to do some tweaking after this.

Sharon..if you hae it in FPT, can you copy it to somwhere else and see if it opens there...it might be worth a shot...who knows...

What is worse is I never found the other one! Well I did find it but I can't get it back and now my links page is playing with me.

is it possible to save a page as a template with all the links ,then keep using this page and just keep adding text and pictures etc for all other sub pages?

Ok...then at this rate we are going to have to start a lost and found section...lol

Hey if you can see it on the webpage..then can you copy everything from the webpage and past to your bv and save ...it might work...then again depends on the details etc...but it might cut some of the work.

Also can you not take a file that is in your public_html and copy to your computer using ftp...or did you try that already...just thinking out loud...

Hang in there...there has got to be a solution....one of the big 'G's (generals) must have the answer.

1/ Click start on your computer. then search, then click all files and folders. then type in the name of page you lost, if it finds it write down the file path. the second to last folder is where its.
2/ why could you not get the last one back ?

Spot on... Alien's solution is the only one... if the file was deleted, you might need a feronsic recovery software.

In any case, if you cant find the page, then you might want to consider this:

Open a new BH page,
insert a blank HTML box at position 0x0
double click on it and paste this:

if you click start then click My Doc then Bluevoda then follow the path you have written above finding and opening each folder in turn.
your page should be in the last one .
but i don't understand why you've got to Bluevoda folders.

Ok if you haven't already done so, open bluevoda, click open existing page, click the up one level icon untill it say's my documents then in the files of types change this to all files, then follow the same path as before. by clicking the folder in the screen and open. find the page and try and open.
got to go to work now so if it dosn't work post here the result and someone should help or i will see it when i get back.
