Default When to use button vs nav bar

    Hello all,

I'm not sure when I should use the "button" and why I would use it. Can someone give me an explanation of the best use of the button as opposed to the nav bar?

I have already inserted buttons on one of my pages with the intention of having someone select a button to take them to a pdf file and be able to download it. I used the button because I didn't like the way the nav bar was scrunched together but have since found a post on the forum as to how to change the nav bar. I spent a lot of time looking because when I tried to insert the hyperlink to the pdf there was no option to do that on the buttons but before I s**** it and start over I thought I'd get the scoop on when to use one over the other.

    Thanks in advance

You would use a button for example in a Contact page to Submit or reset data, or in a survey, etc. There are advanced option that will let you "on-click" to a link.
If you dont want the NavBar consider a MenuBar, lower left hand side of BV or Insert from Menu above.
