Thread: Lock textarea

Hello,

I did the following:

1. Design web page using BlueVoda.
2. Insert textarea there.
3. Put some text in the textarea.
4. Then lock the textarea.
5. Preview in Browser.
6. Go to the textarea in preview mode.
7. You can type text in it.

Why ? How could you prevent that annoying thing
does not happen ? Give me a solution. Thanks.

Locking the object in BlueVoda does not mean it will be disabled in the browser. Lock/Unlock locks the position in BV, so you can't accidently move or resize it.

To make the textarea readonly, you must add:
readonly=true
Inside the tag using Object HTML
