Default How to publish a word doc as part of my wensite not attachment

Hi!

I have got my website going! Thank god for that. However I have word documents with diagrams and equations that I want to put on my website. I have already added it as PDF document for download. I feel all this content I have in my word document should be on my wen for obvious reasons. Any ideas on how to take my word doc to the web. I use word 2003.

I desperately need help.

Thanks in advance!

Jolie

Hi,
In Word click on file & save as web page, then upload using FTP. Then link to that page.

Good luck.

Chris.

Hello there,

I wanted to do the same thing: upload a word document as a whole document and tried to do as you described: I saved my word doc as a web page, uploaded it in the FTP public folder including the subfolders and linked to that webpage. I am not sure of what I am doing wrong, but I always get the Error message HTTP 404 not found.

Could someone help me, please? I am desperate, since I have to upload many more documents this way.

Here is the website:

Hi Margarete,
Your site link should be http://www.margaretesusman.com/aufsaetze.html Sorry I battled with the language, but are you naming your links to the uploaded documents correctly? eg. 'http://www.margaretesusman.com/document.doc' or .pdf or .xml etc

Cheers,

mmayeux,
Let us have the document name you uploaded, because i don't see the link to the document on any of your pages.
Cheers,
