    Question alternate font

Can someone help me? I need to add an alternate font to my pages for those end users that do not have the fonts that I have used on their PC.
For example: I have used French Script and Goudy Old Style fonts for all of my pages, but when someone that does not have those fonts on their computer the whole page is distorted and looks just plain bad. Thank you in advance.

That's why it's important for you to use a font that is a web standard font. You can find them here:

I understand what you are saying, but is there a way to set an alternate font?

No. Their computer selects the alternate. Which is why it's important you use a font that is web-friendly which is what I said!

    Red face Re: alternate font

The end user's computer only uses the default font on their machine after it has exhausted all the font face options that you have set on your webpage.
But after thinking about it, most people are not going to have a lot of the non standard fonts on their PC.

I appreciate your replies Bethers. Thank you for your input.

If you really want an 'off the wall' font for headers. You can make a jpeg of the header in Adobe Illustrator or another graphic program and then 'insert image' in BV.

Dori, is correct - but you don't want to use these fonts for the main text of the website - as you want se's to be able to read that.
