    Default small file size shapes

    Hello,
This may have been discussed before but...
If you start out with a small file size .gif format of solid color and save it as an image, you can then open it in BV and stretch it to any size without a corresponding increase in electronic file size.
I have made a page with examples and samples free for the taking.

email (link on page) for a special request.

Hi, handy tip. I have been meaning to see what methods are quicker to make pages load quicker for a wile now. So i took your page & duplicated it using tables. Was quite surprised to see the Kb's for the page where even halved again. To just a few KB. Will have to look at the tables side a bit more as the one thing i couldn't get was a thin line using BV tables. Still interesting to see what ways there are to speed things up.
Link to page i was messing with & a larger one to see if the KB's changed. LINK 1 LINK 2

Hi Carbon Terry ... looks good ... any chance of gradients? That'd be great, I find inserting a gradient shape in BV ends up being enormous and really holds things up ... when can we expect them? lol

Great Tip Terry, I must admit I didn't think of doing this up until about 6 months ago, but have been using this technique on all sites since and it has made a dramatic change is speed for all my pages. A good tip that everyone should take heed of.
Don't aim for success if you want it; just do what you love and believe in, and it will come naturally.
