Default File Download

I've followed the instructions in this thread:

http://vodahost.com/vodatalk/bluevod...-download.html

But it just doesn't work for me. Any idea where I'm going wrong?

No I want my visitors to be able to download the songs. If the visitor wants to hear the songs without downloading they can do that through te encoded media player on the page.

I think I've cracked it now. Visitors should right click and choose 'save as'. Shouldn't that be part of the tutorial?

AJ

I just downloaded one song using left click and it did what you want. It ask me to "save" or "run". I selected "save" and it let me put it in whatever folder I wanted.

Maybe it has something to do with the browser settings? I'm using IE7.

Could well be. I tried it in FF and it worked fine (although the media player didn't work!)

So I guess the problem is in my IE settings somewhere.
