Cool Project Canada - Downloadable PDF on my website

    Hello,

I am trying to have a PDF file on one of my pages which people can download. I have uploaded it to the FTP Manager Blue FTP but am not sure what needs to be done from here?

Where do I have to go next and what do I have to enter in order for it to show up in the right place?

    Thanks,
    Tatjana

you stated that you had already uploaded the .pdf file
so after you have published the page/s with that link
click on the link and it will automatically open a download box for you
then that file can be saved on the clients computer.

Yes, I have uploaded the file in the FTP Manager and have entered www.project-canada.net/guide.pdf on the page but it does not come up as a link just text. Check it out http://www.project-canada.net/student.html
Not sure what I am doing wrong...

The name of the pdf that you upload needs to be identical to the last part of the link you apply to your page .. if the pdf is called guide it should work, but since it doesnt it must be named something else or you didnt put it in the proper directory .. if this is your main domain the pdf needs to be uploaded to the inside of pubic_html .. if this is an add on domain then it needs to be uploaded to the inside of the add on domain folder ..

Here is a tutorial for embedding a pdf directly on your webpage as well .. if you are interested ...
