    Default Multiple Background Images?

Is there a way to place multiple background images into one page?

One image would sit on top of another?

Place different images in different locations; one at the top for the header, one at the bottom for the footer, and even some in the center of the page on the left.... basically place different images anywhere on the page as a background?

    Sure! Why not?

    It's all semantics .....

You can import them individually as images and place them wherever you wish, and then "layer" other elements on top of them (text, shapes, lines, etc.) careful to maintain page margins as well as the "order" of your layers which will then "mimic" an otherwise propagated background, and this design method must then be 'cloned' or duplicated for all subsequent pages. Build a blank page once to save as a "template" which you can use over and over to create additional pages by adding other page specific elements (text, navigation, etc.).

It is not possible to achieve the same effect by attempting to enter "multiple" backgrounds via Page Properties (which is an entirely different method using different processes and Rules).

It all depends on how you understand and use the word "background" really, and how clever you are building your pages.

    Hi Vasili,

    Thanks for your reply.

Is there a way to tile an image horizontally at the top of a page and put another tiled image horizontally on the bottom or middle of the same page?

It would all have to be one image, meaning you can make an image that has a top, middle and bottom so that it looks like three images. You'd probabaly want a fourth section at the bottom that was background color dropping below your page height so the image wouldn't repeat in a second row.
