Important Note!

BlueVoda Is Not a Unicode Program! Because of this you need to set the appropriate character set also on your computer.

If you have bought your computer I.E. in Greece, it will most probably have installed Greek windows XP. In the computer settings, the Greek character set will be the default set both for the keyboard and for the Non Unicode programs.

If you bought your computer in the USA, it doesn't have Greek (or whatever other language character set)as the default character set, so you need to set it up, in order to be able to work in Greek with BV.

To do this please follow these steps:

1. Go in your Computer's Control Panel > International Options > Language > Details > Add. Scroll down the language list and select the desired one.

2. Go back again, in International Options> Advanced > in the first paragraph, there is a drop down list. This is the setting for the default language of Non Unicode Programs. Scroll down and select the desired language. Click "Apply".

You might be asked to reboot your computer for the settings to become active.

Remember! Change the character set to the correct one in Page Properties in BlueVoda, as shown in the image above.

The charecter set itself is supported, but the right to left writing no. You may try to write the text in Word and copy it in BV.

I'm still not able to change this language thing...

I'm building a website translated in different languages. Right now I'm trying Polish. Some of the characters are like this: ó,ś, ż, ą.

I've changed the character-set to the right one, but still no result. I'm not sure what to change in XP, as all the different language sets are already default configured.

Please help!

Paul

Please note that only ONE language at a time can be the default Non Unicode Programs language, so if you want to build pages in Polish, make sure that Polish is the default Language for NON Unicode Programs.
