    Default CPanel - CGI Center

There are no selections to choose from when I click on the CGI Center. Looking for the Simple Guestbook. Any help would be appreciated.

    Smile CPanel - CGI Center

Thanks! I ventured there, but wasn't sure if that was the right place.
Your tutorials are great...just a lot to take in all at once!

When you were creating your guestbook it should have asked you what directory you wanted to save it in on your public_html folder.

If you chose for example guestbook, your link would be http://www.yourdomain.com/guestbook

If you don't know what directory you saved it under, go into your Cpanel and look in your file manager to find your guestbook. It should be somewhere in your public_html folder.

Good luck, I hope this helped.

Thanks Steve...will go see what I did. The name Guestbook sounds logical!

If I didn't give it a "logical" name, can I change the name.

    Yes,

    1) you can use the rename option in the file manager

    or

    2) delete your current guestbook and re-download it with the appropriate name

I hope you figure it out.
    Good luck.

    Thanks for posting! Starting over.

Question: Should I set up a folder named "Guestbook" within the public_html folder prior to redownloading the guestbook. Or do I just fill in the name "Guestbook" when asked for where I want it to go.

Hope I am explaining myself well enough for you to assist me!

Just fill in the name "Guestbook" when asked where you want it to go, and the directory will be created during the install. Have fun!

Oh, and make sure it's all lower case - guestbook, not Guestbook.

"Patting self on back here"! Thanks so much for posting. Have it all set up, made some minor changes to it and it didn't even explode! Yet!
