Thread: Which Password????

Hi I feel silly.

I followed the activation instructions in my welcome letter and set up my DNS name server and was stumped by the request for an IP address.
So I did not add my new domain name to my vodahost control panel [cpanel] as an add-on domain then.

There was no IP address in my welcome letter except for the following:

VBS Username___________________
VBS Password _ _ _ H A S T I
VBS Login URL: www.vodahost.com/vbs

And my Client ID# 10403

My domain name is: "bumiweb.com"

Today I was in the right frame of mind to access my cpanel so I opened my BV Web Builder and click on the cpanel at the bottom linkbar and the list of DNS name servers appeared. My server is Voda 10 and so I click on the login on the right and the register page appeared prompting for my username and password.

I tried using the above username and password and was rejected.

So what username and password should I use??????????????

Did you purchase a hosting account, or simply a domain name ? The username and password you posted are ONLY for your financial account login, not for your CP. If you have purchased a VH hosting account, then in the welcome mail you must have also received details about your account: IP address, master username, master password. THOSE are the ones you must use.

OK, seems that something is missing here.
1. Your servers are ns17 and ns18.vodahost.com
2. You should have received a welcome email, with your IP address, username and password. If you haven't please check your spam folder (on your computer), it might have ended up in there.
3. If the above info is indeed in your welcome mail. the Cpanel Password should not be empty.

If you still can't find anything, please submit a support ticket, explaining that you haven't received your welcome mail, and the help desk will send it to you again
