Cool How Do I Remove Old Pages From My website?

I am redesigning my website and would like to remove old pages because I am using new page numbers. I have deleted them from my FTM Manager but they are still on my website. Thank You For Your Help.

Wow... wouldn't it have been easier just to change the page numbers?

Go into your file manager, found in your control panel and delete the html files found in there ... be careful not to delete your new pages, I am assuming perhaps you have renamed these pages? If so, that is what to do .....

Thank you for your answers. I find that I can only delete one item at a time which takes up a lot of time. Is there any way to delete more than one page at a time.

I have the same problem.
Cpanel works slowly for me in any case despite my having broadband. it is a night mare to wait for ne page to load up.
Too bad as it is my back office after all! And supposed to be my suport.

I stil have old pages in the world wide web and I don't want them there anymroe!
I log in to cpanel and when it works, I get to a file manager but when I click on it, I can't find the files I need to get rid of. So darn confusing.

sigh.....
help?

And how do i make cpanel work faster for me please? :)

Amanda

In your BV software, click on:
Tools
FTP manager
The FTP Manager will appear
click on:
Connect
Enter the appropriate login info
Everything/anything on the right hand side in your public_html folder can be selected (hold the Ctrl Key down and select every file you wish to delete) and then click on the DELETE button.
All files will be deleted.
You can delete any file this way and is very quick.

Hi Leeza - not sure what you are up to but,

I would post your question over in the php area of the forum ....

I did find the below post by Naval, and you should follow Navals threads in that area ... through his posts you will find the guidance you need...

Naval says - "PHP is only for php pages. If you have some php scripting in your pages, then you need to publish them as php. Otherwise html is ok"

Good Luck
