Default Cpanel/ change passwords

I have a program operating in cpanel then I changed from the original one issued.
I can access the files but they don't work anymore.
Is this a conflict ?

Mayybe Yes, Maybe No....You have not provided nearly enough data for anyone (who is not psychic) to assist you. Please provide more data.

Cool Re: Cpanel/ change passwords

The passwords in cpanel needed to match that of the includes/passwords file within the installed program.
I suppose it varies from script to script, this one was PHP Auction XL (in fantastico).
The information was from their help desk, they said it was Mysql issue.
Once the file was located I edited it with the new password. (same as cpanel)
What is worth noting is that if you want to change passwords/usernames from those issued for cpanel at purchase, do it before you install.

It shouldnt have been your cpanel password, but your database password, and it would only have been your cpanel password if thats what you set the database up as too.

I reckon you are both wrong.... because I fixed it and that's how I fixed it.
The conflict was between the install program & cpanel not just cpanel.
