    I need help with backing up my site.

    What is the difference betwin home directory, remote ftp and secure copy?
    And also I have no idea what is my remote server, port, dir....
    I'm sorry, I'm new at this.
    I just want to make a back up for the site in case something go wrong with my computer.

    All the details should have come to you in your Welcome email from Voda.

    The 3 items you mentioned above are mutually exclusive....
    Home directory is your public_html directory.
    Remote ftp is when you can upload to your website from anywhere.(just use your BV ftp manager button under the TOOLS icon.

    The files on your computer are in a BV format so backup your computer files first.
    The files on your website are converted into html format, so use your Cpanel to back up those files also.

    You can also use a flash drive to back up your file just reminder when you use a flash drive remember to insert your images and pictures as well. I hadf to use it when my computer was being fixed and I worked on my wifes computer. Then when you go back on the computer you will have to insert those images again.

    Its not a bad idea to set up an auto back up every day to another drive. I have "my documents" back up twice a day to 2 different drives. I once learnt the hard way & don't want that again. LOL
