Thread: Finding & Removing empty folder

I hope I am posting in the right place. I think I have to remove this folder from the cpanel

My problem is that when I type in the above without http first and a / after the com I get an empty folder come up instead of my website.
When I first discovered this it actually had a shortcut in the folder which I put in the bin. Now no shortcut, but the folder still exists. I have tried to find it in my cpanel but despite the excellent tutorials and posts the technical side of things is still not my forte.

The shortcut which was in the folder was to a script (I think I have the right name) which i had someone else add as I could not get my head around cron. In other words I never put this folder on my site so I can't back track to remove it.

Hope someone can explain (in language to suit someone who is techno phobic) how to remove this folder

I have a similar problem but it's for my Wordpress blog. To reduce load time I took out the theme files I'm not using. However, the empty forder remains in the theme tree listings.
I suppose that it's no big deal to leave it there but just for tidiness sake
I'd like to remove it.
How best to do this?

You could do this with a ftp client or with your cpanel file manager. Just navigate to the empty folders and click on them and choose delete.
