    Default Re-publishing site

I have completely altered my website and understand that I have to delete everything from public_html before re-publishing. No problem here.
But in the Control Panel there´s also a file named "www" which contains everything that is in public_html. Do I have to delete all these as well?
I have read that the cache should be emptied, but where do I find this?

    Thanks, Chris

You should NOT delete everything in the public_html directory, there are a couple of essential files that need to be retained.

You can safely delete any page file, image file, music file, video file etc ... anything that YOU yourself know you uploaded to the public_html folder. But as David so rightly says, do NOT just go in deleting everything in site!!
Don't aim for success if you want it; just do what you love and believe in, and it will come naturally.
