Default Locked out of CPanel File Manager

Hi, I think that I'm going to need a lot of help from you kind people out there.

I finally took the leap and started publishing my work from BlueVoda. I was trying to set up folders so that I can keep my work organised properly and was using FTP to create these. You might remember that I am creating vouchers that can be printed from web.

A brief explanation as to how I originally started setting this up was:
    1) Top level folders in the public_html for every town
    2) Second level folders in each town for each category
    3) Third level folders in each category to hold multi-sliced images and html page for each individual voucher.

I started to setting this up and uploaded 3 pages - went on line and got a 404 message.

So I figured this system wouldn't work - so deleted pages with FTP File Manager and went to look at consequences in cPanel File manager and now I keep getting an Internet Explorer Script Error when I try to get into File Manager. Whether I ignore or allow scripts to keep running, nothing happens here. Just keeps on saying that it's loading. So it's stuck.

Can someone please help - I would also appreciate it if someone could review how I'm looking at setting up my file management system to see if this is actually a correct way to do this.

    Many thanks

Hi Karen, thanks for getting back to me. I found "legacy". Does this mean that I'll never be able to use File Manager x3? or does it reset itself at some time.

Also could you please comment about the way I am looking at setting yp my filing system
    public_html:
    index page
    Town 1:
    Dining
    Voucher 1a
    Voucher 2b
    Voucher 3c
    Kids' Stuff
    Voucher 1aa
    Voucher 2aa etc.

    Town 2: as above
    Town 3: as above

Each would have their own names but I hope I'm showing what I mean.

    Thanks

Use the opposite of the one giving you issues... they both do the same thing. Its a java script virtual machine issue depending on the version the computer is running. I used to have that issue all the time with some file managers when i was running xp and it was an older machine.

Any way... as long as your files publish to those folders or are uploaded to those folders they should work just fine.

    Thanks Karen,

You're right I am on an older machine running XP.

You're a star. Have a good weekend. I might be able to get away from this computer for a few hours myself.
