    Default cPanel: File Manager

I have just received my domain name (barbarajamesyoga.com). I have played the tutorials and looked through Documentation, but nowhere do I see how you know WHICH directory to choose in File Manager to begin a page? If it is going to be a published file (aren't they all if you have them on your website?) do you always choose Web Root? Or do you start your files in Home? I'm confused. This is all so new to me. Thanks!

    name and save it as
    index
hit the publish icon (top menu)
fill out the publish box with the details from your welcome email
