Thread: .com and com.au versions of same domain name?

Hi

I'm having an issue at the moment with Cpanel not accepting a .com.au version of a domain name because there is already a .com version.

This is the error I get when I try to add the .com.au domain name as an add on:
Error from domain wrapper: Domain already exists, it was not added.

Is there a workaround for this?

try .au without the .com ?

It was a difficult thing to search for in the VH forums, but must be an issue that comes up a lot.
